17 ANSWERS WAITING
01 • LET'S GET STARTED
So… what happens after I hit “Request a Quote”?
Here's what happens next →
+
Once your request comes through, I'll review the details you've provided and get in touch to discuss your space, what you'd like captured and which service or package is likely to suit the project best.
02 • THE PAPERWORK BIT
Do we make it official before capture day?
Contracts, details & locking in the job →
+
Yes. Once the project details are agreed, you'll receive the relevant agreement outlining the services, project details, payment terms and other important information before the job proceeds.
03 • SECURE YOUR DATE
Do I need to pay a deposit?
What locks your booking in →
+
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on completion before the finished content is delivered.
04 • YOUR VISION
Can I tell you exactly what I want captured?
Absolutely — it's your space →
+
Yes. If there are particular rooms, areas, displays, facilities or features that matter most to your business, let me know during planning so we can prioritise them on capture day.
05 • THANKS, WEATHER
What if the weather decides not to cooperate?
Outdoor shoots don't always follow the plan →
+
For projects involving outdoor areas, weather can affect the final result. If conditions aren't suitable for the planned capture, we can discuss the best option, including rescheduling where necessary.
06 • BEFORE THE BIG REVEAL
Do I get a look before my tour goes live?
Yep — you get to see it first →
+
You'll have the opportunity to review the finished tour before final publishing or delivery so any agreed adjustments can be addressed first.
07 • PUT IT TO WORK
Can you put the tour on my website too?
If you've already got the website — yes →
+
Website Integration is available for businesses with an existing website. I can embed the completed tour or 360° content where the website platform allows it. Website creation itself isn't included.
08 • GOOGLE IT
Can you add my 360° photos to Google too?
Existing Business Profile? You're good →
+
Yes. Google Business Optimisation is available if you already have an existing Google Business Profile. Windmill Ridge Co. does not create new Google Business Profiles.
09 • WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
Where can my virtual tour actually be displayed?
More places than just one page →
+
Depending on the project, your tour can be shared through a direct link and may also be integrated into your existing website. 360° imagery can also be used with your existing Google Business Profile where suitable.
10 • MAKE IT YOURS
Can I use my 360° photos elsewhere?
Your content shouldn't live in one place →
+
Finished content can be supplied for the agreed uses associated with your project, including online promotion, websites and other suitable digital channels.
11 • HOW LONG ARE WE TALKING?
Is this an all-day production?
Usually, not even close →
+
Capture time depends on the size of the space, number of scenes and services selected. Smaller projects may be completed relatively quickly, while larger or more complex spaces naturally take longer.
12 • DO I HAVE TO SHUT THE DOORS?
Can my business stay open while you capture it?
In many cases — absolutely →
+
In many cases, yes. However, fewer people moving through the space generally makes capturing cleaner and easier. We'll work out the most practical approach for your business before capture day.
13 • THE TIDY-UP
How perfect does my space need to look?
You don't need to renovate first →
+
The camera captures the space as it appears on the day, so a general tidy-up and removing anything you don't want visible is recommended. Particular preparation can be discussed during the planning stage.
14 • STAYING LIVE
Does my virtual tour disappear after a while?
Let's talk hosting →
+
Hosting and ongoing availability can vary depending on the type of tour and platform used. Any ongoing hosting arrangements relevant to your project will be explained before you proceed.
15 • ROAD TRIP?
What if I'm not exactly local?
Windmill Ridge Co. can travel →
+
Travel is available. Some services and packages include a set travel distance, while projects outside that area may have an additional travel fee. Larger regional jobs can be quoted individually.
16 • PLANS CHANGED
What if life happens and I need to reschedule?
It happens — here's what to know →
+
If plans change, get in touch as soon as possible. Rescheduling and cancellation conditions are set out in the project agreement, including how they affect your deposit.
17 • ROUND TWO
My business has changed — do we have to start again?
Not necessarily →
+
Not always. If your business changes, new scenes or updated content may be able to be captured and incorporated depending on the existing tour and the extent of the changes. Larger updates can be quoted as a new project.
